Paul Krugman of the New York Times is #1. I’m humbled to have been named #47 of the top 100 influential economists in the world. I’m quite certain that Thomas Piketty (#53) and Robert Shiller (#54) are more influential than I am. But as it’s Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for the recognition!
